Located in the historic refurbished Canaan Union Station Railroad Depot in North Canaan, Connecticut, Great Falls Brewing company opened it’s doors in December of 2018.

The brewery is named after Great Falls - the waterfall formed along the Housatonic River at Falls Village in the town of Canaan, just 6 miles South of the Depot.

“Make great beer.” Our mission is as simple as that. We aim to brew a diverse variety of styles of some of the best tasting beers and invite you to enjoy some with us.

Community. Great Falls Brewing was founded on community as central to our philosophy and what guides our purpose. Both involvement of community members and our commitment to our community. We hold events and partner to support public service members, teachers, hiking organizations, non-profits and local businesses (e.g. The Lime Rock Raceway, local restaurants) and support the town’s major annual event, Canaan Railroad Days held in July.
